Beaver Creek Reserve Pergola

During the summer of 2018, our architecture firm, Lien and Peterson Architects, had the privilege of providing Beaver Creek Reserve with structural design and calculations for a pergola and outdoor trellis at their Fall Creek location. Working closely with the reserve, our primary focus was to ensure a structurally sound and safe design for the pergola, which would serve as a gathering space for visitors to explore nature in an educational setting.

Adjacent to the existing Butterfly House, our designed structure was carefully integrated into the site. Our expertise in structural design allowed us to create a pergola that not only provided shade but also offered a covered area for protection from the elements, while still maintaining an open and inviting atmosphere. By collaborating closely with Beaver Creek Reserve, we ensured that our design met their specific requirements, allowing visitors to engage with nature comfortably.
